While racing, you will see a button for nitrous boost appear on the controls. You can use this for catching up to the car or motorbike in front of you. You have to catch up to them and use the guns onboard your vehicle to finish them off. A button with a bullet icon will pop up on the controls when you are playing the car chasing mode.
